I. 서론
It is a well known truth that electricity is closely related to magnetism. After the discovery of Oersted, who found out that electric current can induce magnetic field, there had been a number of developments followed by the unveiling. To make a bigger magnetic field, more flows of electricity are needed. This is why people made ‘coil’ to provide enough electricity. After that, its counter provides induce magnetic field. This relationship between the size and location of the coil is closely related to the power of magnetic field. Let’s see what it is.

In this experiment, maybe we have some errors because:
1. The solenoid is too short and wide.
2. We don’t know the exact number of winding of solenoid.
3. We experiment 2 times when we measure the magnetic field, thus we measure the magnetic field from a bit different place.
4. Other electronic equipment affects to the solenoid. (We tried to reduce this effect, but the result may be disturbed.)
5. The nails aren’t identical exactly. They get rusty differently, so they may have different mass of iron each other.
Considering enough about these errors, we could conclude that:
1. B = μ0nI for a very long solenoid, but generally it is not correct.
2. In both “step up” and “step down” process, the number of nails is increasing, so is the inductive voltage.
3. If there is no matter inside the transformer, the equation Vs/Vp=Ns/Np is satisfied.
4. From our experiment, the measured winding number of outer solenoid is 3.7*105 numbers / m, and the winding number of inner solenoid is 5.1*104 numbers / m.
5. The step up process is occurred when the induction is occurred from the more winded solenoid, and the step down process is occurred when the induction is occurred from the less winded solenoid.
