John Locke becomes more prevalent social contract theorist after republishing The Second Treatise of Civil Government. When scrutinizing this enormous theory especially on Chapter 5, Locke appears to take perspective that property is one of the essential components that gather people to join social contract and links people to form society. An analysis of the rise of property reveals that property brings men a step forward to form society by creating subsequent conditions: common land may reduce as private possessions accrue; but in returns, expediency and better life are provided to men with huge common supplies available.
Locke adds his words more credibility with the use of the word ‘God’ when Locke describes availability of land that all men can use to improve their better life and expediency. Locke writes, “God, who hath given the world to men in common,
