Introduction
The phenomenon of multi cultural or multi ethnic work teams has become very familiar in recent years. Nowadays, such multicultural work teams can be found almost in every organization and in every region of the globe; this is due to the fact that with the recent global political and economical changes has enabled people to move from one state to another with much ease and convenience. This movement has led to the diversification of the work force and therefore the management of a company must prepare itself for managing such differences within its work teams.
It is indeed an arduous and demanding task for the management to create a harmonious and synergetic relationship between a heterogeneous team; differences between the team members are based on their background, environment, culture etc. These differences greatly impact the behavior of the team members and thus it will eventually affect the efficiency and effectiveness of the team itself. Therefore the management must accept and acknowledge these cultural differences and also work to promote a global culture amongst the team members.
