Do Apple have sustainable strategy for its company?
For the first question now a day PC is like a commodity product its each product has small differentiation most of the players in the market compete base on prices to create a sustainable success. Apple have to focus on their competitive advantage in terms of Product design and Reliability and Mac OS X is one of the core competence of Mac product because its offer a reliability system and free of virus.
To make a sustainable success Apple should shift to the products categories that have bigger market size and have more value added since the IT trend is heading to a mobile devices so the iPhone is one potential weapon for Apple Inc.
For Mac product line, In order to use it’s own develop CPU “The Power PC” that draining the battery and had a higher cost when compare to Intel CPU because Intel dominated PC CPU so it’s kind of reach economy of scale.
