As the world becomes globalized, speaking foreign languages is one of the most important factors for being successful. Many parents force their children to learn other languages as soon as they can because a lot of parents believe that their children can learn languages faster and more effectively when they are young. There is no doubt that living in foreign countries where other languages are spoken is the best way to learn and practice the languages. According to the research of The Bank of Korea (2008), “About 812 million dollars went to foreign language studying in the first half of the year, and the figure is expected to exceed 2 billion dollars by year’s end.” Many children go to English private kindergartens, and they get tutoring from native speakers who can speak foreign languages fluently. They go to countries where people speak English to learn a foreign language effectively.
