목차
1. Describe the apparent motion of the stars, as seen by an observer on Earth, over the course of a single night and over the course of a year.
2. List and explain Aristotle`s observations and the reasoning he used to support his geocentric model of the Solar System
4. Explain how Galileo`s studies of physics contributed to his rejection of Aristotle`s geocentric model.
5. Explain how Galileo`s observations of the Milky Way, Sun, and Moon led him to question Aristotle`s geocentric model.
6. What evidence convinced Galileo that Earth revolves around the Sun?
7. What was the astronomical significance of Newton`s studies of gravity?

FOR DISCUSSION
1. Describe the apparent motion of the stars, as seen by an observer on Earth, over the course of a single night and over the course of a year.
2. List and explain Aristotle`s observations and the reasoning he used to support his geocentric model of the Solar System
3. What is retrograde motion? How is it explained in Ptolemy`s and Copernicus`s models?
