본문내용

The abatement of environmental problems is one of the biggest challenges of technology today. The development and implementation of new separation processes may result in 'green' industrial revolution. Membrane technology has many opportunities in this respect. Recently, in the Netherlands, membrane technology was ranked by peer reviewing of experts in the field as the most promising technique in environmental applications. In the alst decade membrane processes have emerged to a technology of substantial technical and commercial impact. However, the implementation in the field of environment, both as cleaning technology and as clean technology is still in an embryonic stat. In addition the use of membrane technology in energy reduction has not been recognized.
