Background
Ⅰ. Vaccum oven method : Drying in vacuo at 95-100 ℃
Dry amount sample containing approximately 2g dry material to constant weight at 95-100 ℃ under pressure 100 mmHg(approximately 5hr) use covered dish 50 mm diam. and 40 mm deep
Ⅱ. Air-oven method
Regulate air oven to 135±2 ℃ using low, covered dishes weigh approximately 2g sample into each dish and shake until contents are evenly distributed. With covers removed, place dishes and covers in oven as quickly as possible and dry samples 2hr. Place covers on dishes and transfer to desiccator to cool. weigh, and calc. loss in weight as H2O.
